The Best SEO Will Move You Forward

I’ve heard that designing a good website is what is required to draw people from the Internet.  Well, that is just half the pixels of the picture.

What is needed is a way to move up in the search engine listings such as Google, MSN and Yahoo.  This is achieved by implementing Search Engine Optimization otherwise known as SEO.  The businesses that continue to float to the top of search engines have SEO friendly websites and hard working SEO companies. 

The first SEO company I hired was via an Internet search.  They promised that, with their assistance, my website would rank in the top 10 listings on the search engines for every keyword I submitted.  No one should make that guarantee and if they do, they are doing things that the Google gods frown upon.  A couple red flags began to waive in the wind.  For one, my communication with this company was limited to emails.  Secondly, I began to notice that when I ran my mouse over our website images a box with our keywords popped up. In my limited knowledge about the Internet I knew that couldn't be good.  

I decided to interview Jay who is with a local SEO company.  Jay assessed our website and gave me an SEO for dummies presentation.  Sure I could handle our SEO but I didn’t want to study it and work to stay on top of the ever changing SEO world.  Creating and maintaining answering service programs such as our medical appointment reminder is what am good at.

We hired the local SEO company and Jay has made the necessary changes to assist us in having the best Internet presence possible.  We have fielded sales inquires nationwide, worldwide.  Jay also introduced me to blogging. Which as you can see is a work in progress…always.
