Local Competition Drives Quality

Last month we were honored with our national trade association’s award for quality answering service, the Award of Excellence.  At the annual convention’s awards dinner I looked around the large conference room and recognized the familiar faces of two competitors from the Phoenix Metro area who had also won the award this year. 

I’ve read article after article on how to get a leg up on your competition.  Most often the message is to identify and integrate fresh ideas and unique marketing strategies.  Of course we listen and take that message seriously but we also understand the benefits of having healthy business relationships with like minded individuals from our industry.

These relationships assist in making A Better Connection the best it can be via sharing information, new technology and at times partnering in projects.  Can you imagine Apple and Blackberry sitting down to discuss how they can provide a better product to the customer or collaborating on a project?  I agree in some instances it appears crazy but we share the following common goals, give our clients the very best service; adhere to the highest standards and ethics and grow our businesses.

I was proud to be in the company of our local competition at our national trade convention and I can honestly say I was happy to see them honored with the award as well.
