Answering Calls in 2010

I sat down this morning and decided to kick off 2011 by reflecting on 2010.  Not a difficult task in that ABC created a quite a positive buzz in 2010.  

Last year ABC answering service grew by acquiring businesses in Boston, Massachusetts and Detroit, Michigan.  We kept the Boston office opened and in December experienced our first “back east snow day”.  While our Boston agents were unable to come into the office because of tons of the white stuff, our Arizona agents went into action.  It’s times like this that confirm why we love technology so much.  This situation also emphasized to our newly acquired clients the benefit of having Arizona as our main hub.  While we get plenty of heat in the summer time, we are free of inclement weather and natural disasters.

In 2010 ABC implemented the triple bottom line standard otherwise known as TBL or people, planet and profit.  We committed our company to corporate social responsibility.  The programs we initiated and continued over the last couple years such as going green; donating financially and volunteering our time to charitable organization; participating in community organization/events and our dedication to providing a fair marketplace to our clients all came together in 2010. We came to the realization that our continued success for years to come would be a result of our commitment to TBL. 

2010 was also the year that we recognized that our shoppers were looking for services that provided options, superb customer service and value for their money. We offer our clients more flexible services and cost saving programs.  We expanded our menu of “free services”.  Our quality of service was tested with 2 separate mystery caller award programs this year.  I’m proud to announce that our agents placed 11th with the ATSI Award of Excellence program and 12th with the CAMX Canadian Award of Excellence program. 

And there is…2010 in a nutshell.  May all our vendors, clients, employees and competitors experience good health, prosperity and success during 2011.
